Red Sun Traditions hope that you will become as excited about our clothing as we are. We have collected several items from the Edo Period, and have taken them apart to make patterns.

We offer custom made garments.  These garments are much like ordering items from the Edo Period.  Our custom made items run in cost much like basic ready-made garments you can order from other venders.  
We will ask for a few simple measurements in order to get your projects started. If you do not want to measure your self; just order your size in Small, Medium, Large, XL or XXL. Red Sun will use these sizes in making your custom garment.  We offer several colors in each item so you can customize your  own  pieces.

We use a premium quality sports fabric, and very high end dress fabrics.  We offer custom service on all our products we do not carry a large inventory with all the colors. Your garmet will go to next in line. So please take the time to measure to get a better fit. we have added the option of custom sewing  to the Haroi and the Hakama-shita.  To keep prices down we had added a few short cuts to the items. This entailed machine sewing the Collar and the hem.. We have now added the option of hand sewing to the to the Haroi and the Hakama-shita.

Red Sun Traditions is the only place you can buy a kataginu as a single item.   We make it out of a sports fabric that will hold its shape.  It is very easy to clean or starch. 
The under side of the kataginu is still hand sewn to get the special look of no stitching on the top. 

Our Era-sugata is of great quality, costing about 1/2 the price of the Era-sugata on the world market.
Worn under a kimono or hakama-shita it will give you a very formal look.
